Welcome to the DODC website.
The DODC is a Club not a school. We help
our members train their own dogs to the standard
they want.
We don't take dogs and train them for
their
owners - that would spoil the pleasure
and
fun of achieving the results you want
yourself.
All dogs (as long as they have had
their
annual immunisations) are welcome at
the
Club as any dog can be trained, although
some breeds of dog are easier to train
than
other breeds.
We believe in traiing our dogs to be
our
best mates, with a clear understanding
of
"Who is the Boss". Dogs and
Handlers
will enjoy training where the dog's
reward
comes from the handler and not from
a bag
of food.
Please note that puppies must have
had the
last of their immunisations not less
than
two weeks beforehand.
